The 43rd annual meeting of the World Economic Forum took place in Davos from January 23 through 27, 2013. The Canton Grisons as the host canton and Davos as the congress venue provided the best possible environment for discussions at both the WEF annual meeting and the Open Forum. The authorities of the Canton Grisons draw a positive conclusion.

Davos once again proved to be a place of dialog during the 43rd WEF annual meeting. While participants of the WEF annual meeting were holding talks and discussions, various groups were able to express their critical views at demonstrations. All demonstrations in Davos were peaceful. The authorities of the Canton Grisons are pleased with this outcome.

Since January 23, 2012, about 2500 leading personalities from business, politics, science, and the arts have participated in the WEF annual meeting in the Grison mountains. Six Federal Councilors as well as various members of the Government of the Canton Grisons took the opportunity to establish and cultivate international contacts with heads of state and government officials as well as leading business managers.
 
The annual meeting of the WEF in Davos with several thousand participants would not be possible without the support of the populace at large, the Federal Government, military, cantons, municipalities, and other partners. The WEF Committee of the Government of Grisons would like to thank all participants and partners, especially the police, army, border guard, and the protection and support service.
